Our volunteer Junior Swim Aides are ages 12 and older. They volunteer with our swimming lesson
program, working alongside instructors and providing high quality swimming lessons to children of
all ages. If you are looking to gain some experience teaching swimming lessons, or hope to be a
swim instructor some day, you are encouraged to apply. Requirements for Junior Swim Aides include:
- Able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards)
- Available to commit to 3 or more 1-week swimming lesson sessions throughout the summer
- At least 12 years old and demonstrate an advanced level of maturity required for Junior Swim Aides
Interviews will be conducted and successful applicants will attend a training class on Tuesday, June 12th from
9-10:30 AM. Volunteer Junior Swim Aides receive passes for free admission to Recreation Swimming!!!
